Chinese Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture has been practiced in china for thousands of years and is one of the most
commonly used medicine procedures in the world.
People often expect acupuncture to be painful, however the needles are little thicker than a hair
and often patients don’t realise they have been inserted. Acupuncture has a calming response
with decreased heart rate, stress reduction and increased energy felt to some degree after just
one treatment.
The World Health Organisation currently lists 47 different illnesses that can be effectively treated
with acupuncture including:
- arthritis
- sciatica
- back pain
- neck pain
- depression
- headaches
- asthma
- high blood pressure
- infertility and pregnancy
- sore throat
- bronchitis and hepatitis
