Our Charities

NSPCC

The NSPCC is the UK's leading charity - specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children. Founded in 1884, it is the only UK children's charity with statutory powers that enables it to take action to safeguard children at risk of abuse. The society operates throughout the UK and the Channel Islands.

The NSPCC is inspired by a belief that we can make a difference for all children. That’s why they aim to end cruelty to children in the UK. To do this, the NSPCC needs to deliver the biggest impact it can, but their limited resources are only a fraction of the government and voluntary sector’s budget for children.

That's where we come in. The NSPCC like many charities, relies on the support of the general public to ensure they can continue with their efforts. By fundraising here at The CityPoint Club, we hope that we can help make a difference.

BREAST CANCER CARE

Breast Cancer Care was founded by Betty Westgate in 1973, five years after her own diagnosis of breast cancer in 1968. The aim of the charity is to help every person affected by breast cancer to get the best treatment, information and support they need. They combine the personal experiences of people affected by breast cancer with clinical expertise in a unique way to:

  • provide information and offer emotional and practical support
  • bring people affected by breast cancer together
  • campaign for improvement in standards of support and care
  • promote the importance of early detection.

Breast Cancer Care relies on the generosity of people like you to fund their expert support and information for people living with breast cancer in the UK. There really is no donation too small, with as little as £5 paying for someone to learn about breast awareness at a community-based workshop delivered by our expert team.

For every membership sold here at The CityPoint Club, we donate £1.00 to Breast Cancer Care.
